How can our injection molds be effectively improved in terms of precision management of molds during processing? First of all, we need to know what problems affect the production and processing accuracy of injection molds.
1. Dimensional accuracy
refers to the actual working size of the machined parts and the tolerance size and range of the parts.
Accuracy is controlled by dimensional tolerances. Dimensional tolerance is the allowable deviation of the size of the part during the cutting process. When the basic dimensions are the same, the smaller the dimensional tolerance, the higher the dimensional accuracy.
2. Shape accuracy
refers to the degree of overlap between the actual problem of the surface of the processed product parts, the geometric structure shape and the ideal, that is, the shape of the geometric model. There are 6 items to evaluate the shape and accuracy, such as straightness, flatness, roundness, cylindricity and line profile. Shape different accuracy is controlled by shape tolerance management. With the exception of roundness and cylindricity, all of these shape tolerances are divided into 12 accuracy required classes. Level 1 is high, level 12 is low.
