Environmentally friendly and non-toxic: PPR raw materials belong to polyolefins, with only carbon and hydrogen elements in their molecules, which are non-toxic and odorless. Moreover, the entire process of raw material production, product processing, use, and disposal will not have adverse effects on human health and the environment, and are known as green building materials. Complies with the GB/T 17219-1998 standard for drinking water to ensure water safety.
Heat resistant insulation: PPR pipes have high temperature resistance and can withstand high temperatures up to 95 ℃. Long term use temperatures can also reach 75 ℃. At the same time, its thermal conductivity is extremely low, only 1/200 of that of metal pipes, with excellent insulation performance, suitable for hot water and heating systems, and can save a lot of energy.
Corrosion and scale resistance: PPR pipes have smooth and flat inner and outer walls, low resistance, are not easy to rust or scale, and have strong corrosion resistance. This can not only prevent pipeline blockage, but also prevent yellow spots and rust from appearing on water basins, bathtubs, etc., ensuring clean water quality.
Lightweight and high-strength: The specific gravity of PPR pipes and fittings is only 1/8 of that of ordinary metal pipes, but the pressure test strength can reach over 5MPa (50kg/cm ²), with good toughness, impact resistance, and easy construction and handling.
Easy installation: PPR pipes and fittings are connected by hot melt, which can be completed in seconds or tens of seconds with specialized tools. The strength of the connection part is greater than that of the pipe itself, making it safe and reliable, especially suitable for direct burial and concealed installation occasions.
